8 Lithgow StreetGlenalvon is a sandstone building built in 1840. The stone is smooth with light milky and gold sandstone colours. There is a large well behind the building and the Glenalvon Stables, consisting of a two storey stone coachhouse and a stable. Glenalvon Stables is now a small hands on museum, open on the first Saturday of the Month, from 9.30am to 1pm. Phone +061 2 4625 1822.
