Manly, a suburb on the Northern Beaches in Sydney Australia, has a number of beaches, both on the Oceanside and the Harbourside.
Little Manly Beach, just north of the Manly Wharf is backed by the East Esplanade Park and host to two sailing clubs, located on the harbour. There is also a popular kiosk there, and those interested in snorkelling and fishing will want to check it out as well.
Manly Yacht Club is famous for its many races that are sponsored and held by them. A family orientated organisation, it works to help young people to learn and enjoy sailing.
The ocean beaches are more well known, including South Steyne, North Steyne and Queenscliffe. Another beach, a short walk away south-east is Shelly Beach, an ocean beach that faces west so being protected from large waves.
Ferries and Jetcats from Circular Quay in the city leave on a regular basis for Manly, you can buy tickets at the wharf:
