Mamre Homestead Penrith Sydney

Home to the Reverend Samuel Marsden family, an experimental working farm and a place where Merino sheep flocks were kept in a successful attempt at pioneering the Australian wool industry. Mamre Homestead was built in the early 1820s.

You can visit Mamre Homestead, located just 200 metres from the southwest of the M4 Overpass from Sydney to the Blue Mountains - Turn off the M4 at Mamre Road. The restaurant serves both delicious traditional sumpteous or light Australian meals.
