North East of The Northern TerritoryThis region, sparse and harsh, has wonderful scenery from the ancient mountains to the vast outback desert regions. When the rains come, the whole place comes alive with birdlife and other wildlife and colourful flora. The Flinders Ranges, stretching all the way from St Vincent’s Gulf into the outback in the North of the state. Here you will find great bushwalking (trekking and hiking) and and scenery.
