Sydney Northern Beaches
On the north side of Sydney Harbour are the Northern Beach Suburbs, of which Manly has the easiest access with ferries and jetcats from Circular Quay in the city and buses running regular services from Wynyard. Yet there are bus services from there that will get you to any of them. See the photos Sydney Northern Beaches Photos.
Sydney East Beaches
The closest beach to the city centre is Bondi, but is also popular for its size and grand views. There are numerous beaches along this part of the NSW Coast that are more secluded, also accessible by bus from the city, between Bondi and Maroubra. Coogee and Maroubra Beach are also popular destinations for visiting beachgoers.
Sydney South Beaches
Further south are the Cronulla Beaches and the secluded beaches of the Royal National Park see Cronulla Sydney - Beaches.
