Pittwater Sydney Australia

The Pittwater is a large body of water located on the opposing side of the Ocean Beaches of the Northern Beaches Peninsula. The opposite side of the waters is occupied by Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, there are scenic picnic areas and opportunities for sailing, cruises and other watersports.

You can catch ferries from the wharf that take you to various points on the Pittwater, or you can just take one to cruise the waters, without seeing the water traffic you would get on Sydney Harbour. Beaches nearby include Palm Beach and Avalon Beach.

Covering Up - Sydney has bright sunny days so wear sun-protective clothing, especially between 10am to 3pm. Find a good SPF30+ sunscreen that is water resistant. Use shade and wear a hat, it all helps to stay looking young, healthy and beautiful as you do. More about the Sydney Northern Beaches.
