Circular Quay pronounced ‘key’, at the foot of the city, is the area surrounding Sydney Cove and place of the original European settlement of Australia.

Much of Early Sydney and Australia history happened at Circular Quay, the harrowing stories of early convict life and their mentors can be explored at The Rocks, while the Sydney Opera House is just down the street on the other side of Sydney Cove.
