Dee Why Beach

Photo: The beach at Dee Why is quite popular on weekends and only somewhat quieter on weekdays. Good for surfing and swimming, the beach stretches northward to adjoining Long Reef Beach.

Backing the beach, you can find a large recreation reserve and the Dee Why Wildlife Refuge and Lagoon, good for watersports including wind surfing. At the south end behind the beach is a collection of surf and beach wear shops, some good eateries and a number of excellent restaurants.
