Chamberlain Lookout Tathra NSW

On Tourist Drive 9, just north of Kianinny Bay. Nearby is the Tathra Wildlife Reserve - worth visiting for its birdlife and native flora.

Tathra on the South Coast is known for its fishing. It is in beautiful settings, with the Bournda National Park to the south and the Mimosa Rocks NP to the north.

Where the Bega River meets the sea, just north of the town, is great for swimming, windsurfing and canoeing.

At Kianinny Bay you can visit the lookout on the north side, there are picnic facilities. The Kangarutha Track starts here, although challenging in spots, this 9kms walk takes you past wild coastal scenery.

Enquire at the NPWS Information Centre at Merimbula for tourist information on the many national parks, activities, walking tracks, camping and picnic areas, lakes, unique flora and fauna and sites of Aboriginal cultural significance on the South Coast of NSW.
