Aboriginal HistoryAboriginals have inhabited this region for many thousands of years, the Murring to the north and the Bidewel in the south. You can find traces of this earlier habitation - middens and other signs, please respect them. Places of InterestAmongst the many places of interest in the Croajingolong National Park is Point Hicks Lighthouse. Notably, Point Hicks was the first point on the east coast of Australia seen by Europeans, Captain Cook in 1770. It can be reached with a 45 minute walk. Other walks of varying difficulty include the Dunes trail with its spectacular scenery and the walk to Wingan Rapids.
