One of the great ways to tour this beautiful part of Sydney is take the Manly ferry, or the Parramatta Jetcat, or take the short trip on the Taronga Ferry to see Taronga Zoo on the Harbour’s foreshore.There are Sydney Harbour Cruises available as well or you can drive over the Sydney Harbour Bridge to visit the Northern Beaches. You can even walk over the bridge for stunning views. They can take you to the many attractions to be found at Darling Harbour, the Olympic Site at Homebush Bay, historic Parramatta, Taronga Zoo or the beautiful Northern Beaches and Manly.
At Circular Quay, a major terminus for all of the Sydney transport services is one of the easiest ways to sightsee. A short walk away, is the Sydney Opera House on the east side, while on the western side is the restored historical district of the Rocks, with restaurants, art galleries, entertainment shopping and markets on weekends.

At the top (north) end of the Harbour: The Northern Beaches of Sydney stretch for some 20kms from Manly Beach in the south to Palm Beach in the north.
Getting to the HarbourGetting There: You can get to the Harbour from the city center by bus running along George or Elizabeth St. to Circular Quay at the foot of the city, between the Sydney Opera House and The Rocks at Sydney Cove. There are Sydney tours available and a number of Harbour Cruises available at Circular Quay.
