Within a short walk from Manly along the Harbour foreshore walk is Fairlight Beach. The gap between South and North Heads are clearly visible in the distance to the left, part of the North Harbour Aquatic Reserve.

Dobroyd Head at Balgowlah Heights is on the other side of the waters with Lady Jane Beach, a nudist beach on the right.
