Mackay and the surrounding region has spectacular rainforests in national parks and beautiful islands just off the Queensland coast. Combined with the beaches, nightlife and shopping, it is easy to see why this area has so much appeal for visitors.

Queensland is as beautiful as it is sunny. This northern part of Queensland is a great base to explore the many historic townships and many of the islands of the Whitsundays and Brampton, Keswick Island, Eungella National Park, Finch Hatton just to name a few.

Summer average temperature 22 Celsius, Winter avg. temperature 13 Celsius.
