Sydney Suggested ToursThe Hunter ValleyAustralia’s oldest wine growing region, with over 70 wineries and excellent gourmet restaurants. Just 2 hours north of Sydney, you can enjoy tastings at some of Australia’s finest wineries, even purchase a case or two straight from the cellar!
Then have lunch at one of the many gourmet restaurants of your choice, made with the freshest of local produce. Many have extensive wine lists. Or go to a local deli and gather fav foods for a picnic. Options Along the WayIf your so inclined, we can first visit one of the many historic townships in the valley or head off to the Australian Reptile and Wildlife Park. See choice of attractions you can visit - tell us your preference(s) but consider how long you wish to stay at any of them, driving time between, and the Hunter Valley (approx 1.5 - 2 hours drive to and from Sydney, each way) Hunter Valley Options. You can vary the tour with stop-offs, but a normal day tour takes anywhere from 6 to 10 hours. Barring unforeseen circumstances, we do not normally allow our personal tour guide to drive much longer than that in a day, as we believe your safety comes first. If you wish to try something spontaneous and there is enough time, don’t worry, our guides are equipped with GPS Satellite Navigation. Corporate and Conference Clients Welcome. Extended ToursTours are available further afield and for longer periods than Sydney and it’s immediate outer regions, but subject to availability and associated costs, such as the tour guide driver’s accommodation and meals.
