This region, in the north east part of the state, has alpine areas, with hiking and trekking walks offering fabulous views. Popular in Winter for snow, skiing, snowboarding and everything else associated with a snow resort region.

On the Alpine Road, you will find the beautiful high plains of Victoria, winding its way through some of the state’s most majestic alpine peaks. The 308 kilometre touring route takes travellers through past though some of Victorian most scenic places and tourist spots. Gippsland and High Country Map Victoria.
