Serving not only great mains but tapas as well, for a delicious diverse dining experience. Despite mixed reviews, the food here is usually good although it can get busy here, especially during the summer months. Situated on the main road through Narrabeen, it is not hard to find. If you love great German food, whether made fresh for you or specially imported small goods from the fatherland, as there is an extensive delicatessen there, Brot and Wurst is the place to go on the Sydney Northern Beaches. And yes, they have a wonderful selection of breads (brot) for your enjoyment.
The cafe, of course, benefits from this, the German food here is some of the best you will ever experience in Australia. They also have more traditional Aussie foods, such as the bacon and egg roll for breakfast. Try one of their cheese and toast melts, made with your choice of imported cheese and deli meat.

Also on Pittwater Road, is the Shamiana Indian Restaurant. Excellent tasting curries, Biryani, Tandoori and Naans, in an atmosphere of Shamiana, traditionally a place in Indian culture where family and friends gather for great food. Hence the name.
