FAITH-BY-NUMBERS
“Faith-by-numbers speaks to the trivialisation of faith as a hobby. The work is predetermined, contrived by line and number, verse and passage. Our art-making aligns the practice of faith with the rehearsal of a lifetime, one that can be picked up and put down, coloured in or left blank. Viewing the work from various distances creates different perspectives. From afar, completion is assumed. Up close, completion is encouraged.”

Samual Dunn is a designer, actor and student of the College of Fine Arts, UNSW. John Sheehy is a student of Arts/Law at the University of Sydney. This is their first collaborative work.
