A number of major attractions at Darling Harbour include the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Powerhouse Museum, Wildlife World and Sydney Aquarium. It also has the Chinese Gardens, the Star City Casino complex with its many restaurants, bars and entertainment and the Harbourside Shopping Centre.
Also here is the Sydney Entertainment Centre, The Sydney Exhibition Centre and the IMAX, with its huge movie screens. Darling Harbour also has plenty to do and explore for kids at the Powerhouse Museum and Wildlife World, located next to Sydney Aquarium.
Located just 15 minutes walk west of the Sydney centre, you can also find plenty of accommodation here, allowing you quick access to all the major transport hubs in the city. There are ferries to Circular Quay and other parts of the city, as well as a monorail to get you to the city centre and a light rail line, which heads to Central Station.
