Capanno Trattoria Bar and Grill

Agapé Organic Restaurant & Bar

With claims to be Australia’s largest organic restaurant, there is an amazing tasty variety of good food here made from sustainable organic produce, of course. Those seeking natural foods with great taste will not be dissapointed.

Amongst the organic ingredients are grains that were used in ancient times, including Spelt, dating to thousands of years ago, Amaranth, used by the Aztects and the Incas as well as Quinoa, also from the Andes in South America. Prized for their nutritional value, with either low gluten (Spelt) or no gluten (Amaranth, Quinoa).

Just because their ingredients are wholesome and organic, you will find a great variety of tasty flavours in their entrées, pastas, mains, salads and handmade spelt pizzas. They also have a variety of street foods such as Fish Tacos and slow cooked Pulled Beef. Note: their menu varies according to the season.

Curry Craze

Located next to Mascot station, they serve not only delicious traditional curries but Rice, Naan, Samosas, Wraps and other Street Food. Some say the curries are a little too hot, I say, eat more rice with each bite to tone it down to your liking without losing any of the flavours.
