From Asian Elephants to rare Australian species, the zoo in Melbourne Australia has been taking care of animals since 1862.
There is a wide variety of animals at Melbourne Zoo, over three hundred and twenty species from Australia and the rest of the world. You can visit from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm all days of the year.
There are Zoo at Night experiences, a chance to get really close to the animals with their Wild Encounters and behind the scene. Their top attractions include the Trail of Elephants and the Wild Sea, exploring Victoria’s coastline.
Located in Royal Park, the zoo has car parking available and is easy to get to by train and tram.
