Melbourne Yarra River Landmarks

Alongside the Yarra River in Melbourne Australia you can find numerous famous landmarks, including the Melbourne Music Centre, Flinders St Train Station, the Eureka Tower, the Rialto Towers and of course, Federation Square.

An interesting walk further along the river will take you to the Melbourne Cricket Ground and other major sporting centres, such as the Rod Laver Arena and the new Storm training home ground.

 

Royal Botanic Gardens

On the other side of th river from there, there is the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Southgate, the Melbourne Aquarium and the Arts Precinct are on the east side of the Princes Bridge, all within a gentle walk along the Yarra River.
