The Museum traces the history of Victoria, explores its culture and life and the natural environment. You can experience an ancient natural Australian rainforest, see ancient aboriginal artefacts and aboriginal artwork, explore exhibits that show you the rapid evolvement of the city of Melbourne.
There is a lot more. Phar Lap, boats, the human body and mind, timelines of the earth and ancient dinosaurs are just some of the exhibits. There are nine main exhibitions areas in all, many are changed on a regular basis.
