Queensland in the North East is famed for many islands, beaches and wonderful scenery.
This region has developed into one of the most visited in Australia. Known for its sunny climate and beach lifestyle. In the hinterlands, you can explore the Eungella National Park, with its Hatton Gorge. Mackay is a beautiful coastal country town surrounded by canefields with the Capricorn Coast to the East.
The Whitsunday Islands, a group of islands off the QLD Coast are largely under national park protection, you can stay at a number of them but numbers are limited. Cruising the Whitsundays is another way to enjoy this pristine subtropical getaway.
Many of the beaches found in this region and on the Whitsunday Islands are absolutely stunning, while others are simply stunning.
