Northern Territory Places, Cities and TownsThe Northern Territory offers adventure - Uluru (Ayers Rock) is near Yulara in the South West of the State, while in the north, there are the stunning National Parks of Kakadu and Litchfield, amongst many others. The main cities found here are Darwin, the capital of the state and Alice Springs, in the arid Red Centre of Australia. Much of the land in the state is Aboriginal owned.
