Cronulla Beaches
The Sutherland area is ideal if your looking for grand scenery, historical places to visit and hiking. An easy way to enjoy this part of Sydney is take the ever popular Cronulla Walk. Turn right at Cronulla Beach and walk along the beaches, rock pools and grand vistas of the coast and waterways of Port Hacking.
You can also turn left at Cronulla Beach, to explore the other beaches and the protected hinterland.
Royal National Park
The Royal National Park is only short drive south, or take the Bundeena Ferry from Cronulla across the waters to Port Hacking. At Bundeena, worth exploring as well, you can visit secluded beaches and see Aboriginal Rock Carvings.

Getting to Cronulla Beach
Sydney trains heading south from the city stop at Loftus, an easy access point to the Royal National Park from the City. Or just take the train to Cronulla and the ferry to Bundeena and the Royal National Park.
