Echuca
Echuca gets it name from an old aboriginal word, meaning ‘Meeting of the Waters.’ Since Echuca restored it’s old paddlesteamer port, the town caters well for visitors and tourists.

Swan Hill
Swan Hill, an area well known for its famous wines, is also a great place to see and explore the wilder parts of Murray River.
Corryong - ‘Man from Snowy River’ country Corryong is famous as the final resting place of Jack Riley, the inspiration for ‘Banjo’ Paterson’s poem The Man from Snowy River. The town is located on the upper reaches of the Murray River and is surrounded by mountain peaks and escarpments.
Outdoor enthusiasts will love Corryong; not only is it a popular spot for rock climbing, whitewater rafting and horse riding, its breathtaking natural environment is ideal for bushwalks, 4WD tours, cycling and fishing. In winter, the spectacular sight of snow-capped Mount Kosciuszko is a reminder that cross-country skiers can find snow within a half-hour drive.
