Great Otway National Park Australia

The National Park has magnificent coastal scenery, towering mountain ash trees in the dense canopy of the hinterland rainforests. Koalas can be spotted amongst the tree branches and rare flora and other wildlife can be seen.

You can explore the National Park via horseback or mountain bike as well, there are trails that are suitable for ability levels of all kinds. In almost 100,000 hectares of park, there are numerous trails for bushwalking, short walks for families to multi day experiences for experienced trekkers. There are trails along clifftops, the ocean and through the bush and rainforests.

Note - During May and October every year is the annual migration north of whales from the Antartic to their breeding grounds further north while throughout the year you may be able to spot seals and dolphins.

Mountain bike trails include the international standard track at Anglesea Mountain Bike Park and others throughout the National Park.

Anglesea Fishing

There are a number of great places for fishing here, not only at the ocean beach, but in boats and on the river. You will need a fishing licence, available in town.
