Croajingolong National Park is noted for its many picnic spots, some which can only be reached by boat. Some sites have BBQ facilities. There are facilities for boating, with launching ramps. Snorkeling, camping, canoeing and kayaking are all enjoyable here, you can also fish in designated areas.
Declared by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, the park has more than 100 kilometres of coastline that it protects. Pristine beaches and granite peaks mark the landscape, covered by heathlands and massive eucalypt trees.

Aboriginal History
Aboriginals have inhabited this region for many thousands of years, the Murring to the north and the Bidewel in the south. You can find traces of this earlier habitation - middens and other signs, please respect them.

Amongst the many places of interest in the Croajingolong National Park is Point Hicks Lighthouse. Notably, Point Hicks was the first point on the east coast of Australia seen by Europeans, Captain Cook in 1770. It can be reached with a 45 minute walk. Other walks of varying difficulty include the Dunes trail with its spectacular scenery and the walk to Wingan Rapids.
