Sydney Opera House

To the east of Circular Quay, a short walk will get you to the Sydney Opera House. Designed by Utzon, the building hosts Music and Performing Arts from Australia and the world throughout the year. Tours are available.

For an excellent collection of exhibitions on the founding of Sydney, the Museum has some wonderful displays. From the city’s very beginnings, there is plenty to explore about convicts, The First Fleet and Sydney history.
