If your not tempted to shop till you drop, you can head off to explore more of Sydney’s convict or colonial history at either the Hyde Park Barracks or the Museum of Sydney, both have excellent displays and exhibitions of our early city’s history.

Or just a short walk from the Rocks is the Sydney Opera House. After seeing this grand icon of Australia head off to Bondi Beach for lunch, at a place of your choice (there are many). There is an easy walk there with stunning panoramic ocean scenery and dramatic sandstone cliffs.
