Mounts Bay on the Surf Coast Victoria is located on the south side of Point Bunbury and goes to the southern Hayley Point.
A sand barrier, backed by low dunes forms the beach, behind the dunes are the floodplains of the Barnham River. You can find some car parks behind the beach and at Point Bunbury, while the Great Ocean Road (GOR) runs behind the beach with a bridge crossing the river.
